Hurray for Born Pretty Plates!

Oops, I haven't been on here in a while! I have however been expanding my polish collection & stamping away-I even remembered to get pics of most of the designs, so I'd better get posting...

Colours used: China Glaze For Audrey, Konad SP Blue, Konad SP White.
Plate used: Born Pretty Plate M71.

I just bought a bottle of UPI Base coat, which came with a free bottle of Top Coat! I was absolutely delighted because up until very recently no where in the republic of Ireland stocked UPI, and now it's starting to appear in chemists. Ok it's priced from €12.99 a bottle-and I can get it on Ebay from $5.99, but it's still exciting to see it available here :)
The top coat seems very shiny, hopefully the base coat will be a good one that will strenghten my brittle nails.

The plate I used was a freebie from a great site www.bornprettystore.com . They have a special offer where they give away 10 plates a day, and I was lucky enough to get one (after weeks of trying!!)
I absolutely adore this plate! I love the Hello Kitty face, the 4 leaf clover and the butterfly, but I decided to try the flowers first :)
My free plate!!!

I painted two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, a beautiful polish that I use at least once a week.
After leaving to dry completely for 10 mins I stamped the bottom corners of my nails with the swirling leaf & flower design, then stamped again using the big flower design. I chose blue because it really compliments the beautiful duck-egg blue that is For Audrey.
To add some detail I used my dotting tool to put little dots of white in the centre of the flowers, than after waiting 15 mins for the Konad paint to dry I painted a top coat with my super shiny new UPI :D

Born Pretty Store make their own range of plates and they are really cheap. They also make Fauxnad copies.
I ordered a big box of goodies which I'm hoping will arrive next week, I will post pics when it arrives.
